Guild Exhibition & AGM
Guild Exhibition
Saturday 23rd June 2012
10.00-16.00
Free Entry
Each year we host an exhibition which enables our members to gain access to the latest technologies, equipment and information relevant to our industry.
The companies that exhibit with us are our associate members who support our organisation and our mission in many ways, one of which is by providing our members with attractive discounts. For more information on our exhibitors please visit the Associate Members page.
The exhibition is not only open to our members but to the public as well and there is no fee to pay on the door, just turn up and have a look around. If you are thinking about joining our organisation as a chimney sweep or you're in the trade and interested in seeing how our organisation can benefit you then feel free to come and join us for the day and have a look around.

AGM - Members only
Friday 22nd June 2012
The AGM is the opportunity for all of our members to get together and discuss the present and future of the Guild. As an organisation owned and run by its members, every member has a voice and a vote on the direction the Guild is heading in.
There will be a lot to talk about (besides the price of a drink). Our industry and the Guild itself are changing rapidly. Change will affect every member, new and old. Together we have the power and influence to design and implement the right changes. The AGM is the opportunity to hear what has been happening and more importantly, discuss what is going to happen.
These discussions form the future path of the Guild and will have a direct effect on our industry.
The knowledge, networking contacts and friendships gained by spending a couple of days per year with a group of your peers is invaluable.
For members with established businesses it is often the only opportunity to meet each other from year to year in what can otherwise feel like quite a solitary business.
For newer members it is the perfect opportunity to exchange stories and build links with members; you never know you might stumble across a solution to a problem you've been having.
Gala Dinner - Invitation only
Friday 22nd June 2012

Once the AGM has finished and the evening arrives it is time to dust off your suit and let your hair down.
The Gala will kick off with a raffle where various prizes can be won and then we move on to the Guild Awards.
Last year saw:
- Steve Shrubb win Best Van
- Iain Stevens win Best New Business
- David Wooffindin awarded for Life Time Achievement
This year will be no different and we will be awarding our members for their efforts and achievements over the past twelve months.
Once the awards have been presented it will be time to tuck in to a three course meal and an evening of camaraderie, stories and memories to be made.
The Gala Dinner is one of the highlights of the year on the Guild calendar and one we all look forward to.
