The hotel were approached for a solution and additional car park security has been negotiated.
As reassurance, this year the hotel has agreed to have staff in their company vehicle man the car park between 11pm and 6am on the Friday and Saturday night. The additional cost has been accommodated into the event.
The hotel also noted that since the incident, they have altered their policy on the main entrance barrier and that there there had been no repeat. They also confirmed that they have amended their policy on the barriers since the incident noted below, with the main entrance barrier now being lowered during the evening.
