First live video presentation – Digital booking and databases
The Guild of Master Chimney staged its first live video presentation yesterday. Around 50 members logged in to see presentations on digital booking and management systems by industry experts Thomas Wiggins and Martin Lewis. Guild chairman Lawson Wight hosted proceedings which culminated in a lively Q & A session. Don’t worry if you missed it – you can catch it all below. Apologies in advance for the multiple camera views in places, we’ll do better next time.
Lawson said: “Martin and Thomas are both experienced sweeps and are very familiar with the digital systems they use. They are ideally placed to share their knowledge and experience with our members.” He added: “The presentations were great but the Q & A is always the best part for me. I’d like to thank them both once again.”
Have your thoughts have turned to preparing for the future, how to make the business more productive? Are there any new systems or procedures which would could improve efficiency and productivity? The answer for most sweeps is yes, and it almost always concerns customer management and general administration. Everything from taking a booking to sending an invoice or texting a reminder before a visit.
Perhaps there has never been a better time to investigate a Digital system.
Further presentations are planned for the coming weeks to help support members through this difficult period so keep your eye on your email for details. Suggestions or requests for presentation topics are most welcome so please do get in touch with your ideas.
