The Guild has been working with insurance brokers Towergate to develop a package of insurance for members.
Early last year, Guild director Gavin Cater was ‘shopping around’ for insurance after the popular industry insurer he was with significantly increased his premium. He contacted Towergate with his requirements, got the cover he needed and made a nice saving of around 25%. He recommended Towergate to fellow director John Stone, who recently managed a 30% saving over his previous premium.
Since then, Gavin has been in contact with Towergate with a view to them developing insurances for Guild members. Each policy is bespoke and tailored to individual business need. As such, the Guild makes no guarantee of specific savings, but we are confident that many members can benefit from a good quality package at a competitive price.
