HETAS is the only specialist organisation approving biomass and solid fuel heating appliances, fuels and services. This also includes the registration of competent installers, chimney sweeps, servicing engineers and retailers. Through a network of Approved Training Centres, HETAS offers a range of industry leading biomass and solid fuel training courses.

As a non-profit organisation, we pride ourselves on investing surplus funds into business areas that directly contribute to safely reducing particulate and carbon emissions for the benefit of the people and the environment.
