OFTEC’s registration scheme for solid fuel heating technicians provides significant benefits to all who join

OFTEC’s registration scheme for solid fuel heating technicians provides significant benefits to all who join. Our Government approved competent person scheme is available to all qualified technicians. If you work in the solid fuel heating industry, OFTEC registration will benefit your business and demonstrate your competence to existing and potential customers. We believe that chimney sweeps can play a huge part in ensuring that solid fuel burning appliances are operating safely and correctly. As the first point of contact, it is often the sweep who is in the best position to notice faults with the appliance. Our new training course, the OFT18-108S, covers servicing and fault-finding for dry solid fuel appliances, and has been introduced after many requests from sweeps for OFTEC to develop such a course To find out how to apply for OFTEC registration and start receiving these benefits, visit www.joinoftec.com

It was apparent that a lot of intelligent and…
