New members on the Training Programme undertake on-site training / mentoring days. They accompany experienced Guild sweeps as they visit their customers. Experienced Guild members wishing to deliver on-site training for new sweeps must attend this course.
On-site trainers put something special back into the organisation. They give their time and energy to help new members get on the right track. They are a great example of the co-operative values and organisational learning within the Guild.
The course outlines candidates scope of work and responsibilities to the trainee and their customer in this situation. It takes place online, usually in the evening, for a maximum of two hours (no special software required).
