In the last edition we advertised for an assistant editor for the Sweep Stuff magazine. We are very pleased to announce that Milly Woodrow has joined Lawson Wight and Jez Brook to assist with writing / producing articles and editing. You can find Milly’s first two articles elsewhere in this edition.
Milly established ‘Lady in Red Chimney Sweeps’ in 2019 going on to build a successful sweeping business.
She said: “As a passionate chimney sweep and advocate for sustainability, I’m honoured to join the Sweep Stuff magazine team. Creating Lady in Red Chimney Sweep has allowed me to witness the positive impact of adopting eco-friendly practices, exemplified by my striking electric red van cruising the roads of Ashford and Canterbury.
I believe that Sweep Stuff magazine plays a vital role in fostering knowledge-sharing within the Guild community and beyond. It’s a privilege to contribute to a publication that has become the go-to source for all things sweeping, with both print and digital editions now reaching a wide audience of over 1500 readers.
I’m excited to collaborate with the talented team behind the scenes, and I’m committed to upholding the magazine’s high standard of articles while ensuring the perfect balance between informative content, advertising and perhaps some fun for all readers.”
